From the initial onsite meeting with Brent for the quote we were always kept in the loop. Everything was on time and organized very well. Nick, the installer was very professional and courteous throughout the entire install. Clean and neat with drop sheets for home and basement access. Very impressed. Shift Air Mechanical installed a Danka Heat pump & wall Heat/Air-conditioned on March 8, 2021. They came up with the best unit and brand for the job which matched our budget. Shift Air was the most professional quote we received which followed with a very smooth installation or the unit. Anyone who has tried to hire contractors in the Valley knows the difficulties that can include. I found ShiftAir, and they had the ducts and furnace installed in the time and within the cost I was promised from the start. Very professional and great to deal with. Will use again.
After experiencing many years of hot summers without air conditioning and high heating costs during the winter at our home in Timber Ridge, I contacted Shift Air Mechanical to install a ductless Daikin Heat Pump with two zones to cover the main floor (1200 sq ft). The installation was professionally done by a friendly technicians In September, 2020. The heating and cooling system was exceptionally quiet, effective, and easily controlled with handheld remotes, one for each outlet.Some days September in Invermere can be hot and on those days the air conditioner worked well. Our first BC Hydro Heating bill for October and November was 50% lower than last year's bill for the same period.
