We have been going to Bear's for years. Little by little the quality of the food has been going down, especially during the pandemic. We have tried over and over again as we order the combo dinners (usually ribs and brisket) with the sides. Today on New Year's Day we decided to order take-out. When we got it home the order was not correct. We ordered one 1/2 chicken and ribs and one ribs and brisket. I also put a note in there saying that we had gotten really dry food before, especially ribs and the please watch what they give us. We ended up getting two 1/2 chicken, one brisket and a rib. Everything was horrible. The chicken was dry, the brisket, not even the normal amount, fatty and dry and the ribs dry and burnt. The cole slaw was so sour I split it out. The mac and cheese was the only thing we could eat. That's it for us. We won't go again. Considering what we paid I'm not understanding why the quality of the food etc...has gone down so much. Never again.

These were the sides. Buy individually 3.50 each. Could they spare it? Greedy quantity. Won't go back. Staff was also snotty. Was our 1st visit. They were impatient even though their were few customers and 3 helping for one order. Very disappointed ️
Our first and last time we will eat takeout here. We spent alot of money here and definitely did not receive what we paid for. Our order was not completely right. There were no condiments even though we paid extra for them. The portions were a disgrace. When paying 3.50 a side you expect more than a few teaspoons full. We paid over 130.00 to feed four people and regretted every second. Only reason we gave two stars is they were very polite.
Not impressed at all! Half my container is empty. Cornbread is so gritty and reminds me of breadcrumbs. Mac and cheese no taste. I’d pick 50 cent box Mac and cheese over this any day. pulled pork was ok if you like it smothered in bbq sauce. Garbage... and I eat anything. Waste of money
The restaurant is large, and has a dedicated bar area as well as an outdoor dining area. The brisket had a visible smoke ring, and had a nice smoky flavor. The pulled pork was a disappointment, it had a visible smoke ring, but not much of a smoke or seasoned flavor at all. The pulled pork very much needed sauce, which was surprising. My favorite part of our meal, instead of the meat, were the sides. The fried pickles in my opinion were absolutely perfect; quarter sliced, thick crunchy fried coating that didn't fall apart, and a slight amount of heat to them. The beans had pulled pork and kielbasa(?) mixed in with a slight heat to them as well, absolutely amazing. The house sauces were very enjoyable, and they have 3 different choices, so everyone should find one that they like. The kids meals came with either a pork or chicken slider, 1 side, drink, and a cookie. Milk or a juice box were the options for the drink, which are nice, but it would have been nice to have a fountain drink option too. If you're anywhere near the airport, you should treat yourself to some very good BBQ.
