On their website they state they help "..any girl or woman regardless of age, race, religion, marital status or financial situation, who is facing an unplanned pregnancy". However when I went there last year when I was pregnant and looking for guidance, they were no help at all. I was given a pregnancy test and that's all. The woman there seemed shocked me and my SO at the time had jobs. She said most people who go there are homeless, jobless with nothing. I filled out a form and was told they would call me. They called and said they could not help me at that time, as I didn't "qualify". My main purpose for going there was guidance, not free stuff. However, we both worked minimum wage jobs so it's not like we were extremely well off anyway. I went to a different pregnancy centre on Ottawa and thankfully they were able to actually help me.
