I ordered takeout on Saturday night and had my wife pick up the food. When she went to pay with gift cards, the hostess rudely stated that she could not use that as a form of payment. She indicated that the gift card could not be used for take-out and stated that the rules were written on the envelope. Looking at the envelope, it's apparent that there are no words or an indication that this rule exists. I purchased two 50 gift cards and the bill was 124. This would be fine if the rule was explicitly stated, but from my perspective is an unfair rule that is being enforced. Throughout COVID, I have made an effort to support local, however, I feel that I am being penalized for \shopping local\. I would expect that an established restaurant would never provide such poor service and have random terms and conditions that are not explicit. In the future, this negative experience will make me re-think my choices for visiting this establishment. Those gift cards will be re-gifted, and I will be sure to let others know of my negative experience. I do not recommend this restaurant.

The food and service were both excellent. Very friendly staff and clean restaurant. All the servers were wearing their masks. It was our first time eating at a restaurant since they were able to open during COVID. Thank you to all the staff for make this a safe experience for us.
Service was outstanding. The drinks were perfection. The patio is adorable. The appetizers were delicious. And the entrees were so fresh and tasty ! The cheesecake was light and whippy absolutely delicious !! Four of us dined and every one of us loved everything about ciao pasta bar !
Super friendly owner and chef. We were pleased to find them open for pick-up orders! Rather than look at a menu, she asked what we felt like eating. I had house made gnocchi with a spicy blush sauce with shrimp and red pepper, and it was fabulous! My husband had broiled salmon with asparagus and risotto, and they nailed that one too. Food taste and quality were top-notch! Highly recommend this restaurant! Let's keep our restaurants in business, Windsor!
This was a great Italian restaurant to try with great food and great menu choices they also have not one but four different gluten-free options for your noodles and will accommodate two special dietary needs. The restaurant was clean and smelled good everything was well laid out and you can tell that the staff really cared about their jobs and took very good care of their customers. The food itself was pretty good and and the prices were pretty decent as well a little bit more on the expensive side but good.
