I stayed at this motel over the weekend. It is located at a walkable distance from downtown. Staff were good, room was clean and nice. However, as others have mentioned there was a mild smell in the hallways on all floors, though not strong. wireless internet did not work at all during my whole stay. I would like to give 2.5 stars, but that option is not available.

Rooms were clean and updated. This was a nice hotel compared to other places. No problems.
This hotel is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my entire lifetime. All the rooms smelled of smoke (although the rooms were claimed to be non-smoking), they were extremely shabby, everything is outdated, and it is really overpriced. It should be priced at 1.00 per night instead of 63.00 per night for what it is. The only decent thing inside the whole building was the giant flatscreen TV in the lobby, that's it. Don't go to this hotel, go to Holiday Inn which is a 5-10 minute walk from this place. You will save yourselves a lot of trouble.
Full points for taking care of me when another hotel in the downtown totally let me down. Rooms are clean and most rooms are recently renovated (I think that work continues). It is no longer the Days Inn, but is rebranded as Quality Inn and Suites. I look forward to possibly getting a suite in the future after the reno work is over. Only shame is that they should have hired an interior decorator to pick more pleasing colours. The boring beige trim colour looks dirty from day one and the similar beige/gold wallpaper isn't much better. They should have replaced the 1970's brass plated door handles with a more modern colour (antique pewter, anyone?). Hopefully they will do something about the exterior decor, especially in the entrance-way and the picnic table that has a board missing. I think they could do a very nice, but simple courtyard area outside that would stop the place looking like a KOA campground. Comfy beds and the AC units seem quiet and effective. Not like some older hotels where they hum and rattle and never do anything. These work.
No longer days inn. Quality Inn now and upgrades are good. Clean rooms
New styling is and cleaned up. Still too maNY teenagers partying in the halls.
Worst hotel i have been to. Hallways and room smelled bad. Curtains, carpet, bathroom, dresser, and table were dirty and stained. Mattresses were stained and dirty. Makes me paranoid on what i might have brought back with me. Will not be staying there again.
Very clean rooms with very supportive staff
