Not only is this home for Haliburton BUT also houses the Birthplace of Hockey Museum. Double bang for the buck. Very interesting and an educational must visit for all.

I was in Nova Scotia with my boyfriend who is from there and neither of us expected such a pleasant, informative experience. Haliburton House has a very interesting and diverse history. It is absolutely worth a visit. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and keen to share the stories of the area and history.

Halliburton house is worth a visit in the heat of the summer. Thomas Chandler Halliburton a judge and author of the clock maker and the many sayings of Sam Slick. Great tour, especially the basement kitchen!
