Used Liberty to file my taxes for 2019. Service was good and staff was friendly. Yesterday I received my reassessment from Revenue Canada. After reviewing my return I have realized that Liberty didn’t include my income from one of my T4 slips submitted. I now owe 3100 in taxes and penalties. I’m not upset that I need to pay what I should have but that I hired a professional service in order to avoid mistakes like this on my taxes. In reference to another review written (busy is not an excuse for errors)! If you can’t perform the services you are being paid to do it’s your responsibility as a business to correct the problem. People write reviews to allow others the opportunity to learn from their experiences positive or not. I value everyone’s feedback and hopefully mine will help someone in making an informed decision regarding filing their tax returns.

I went here to get my taxes done and the staff seemed clueless. Did not give me the confidence that they could handle my tax return. Read the other google reviews and decided to go somewhere else. I ended up going to the Lincoln and Wyandotte location. The lady there has worked for Liberty Tax for 15 years and knew what she was doing. Very satisfied with how they did my taxes. I would not go back to the Erie and Parent location again as long as the current staff and management is there.

DO NOT GO HERE TO GET YOUR TAXES DONE!!! The service is terrible, the manager Yelda is extremely rude. I seen two people walk out because she was screaming at them. I've been dealing with Liberty Tax for 7 years and never had an issue until I went to this location. They messed up my taxes last year at this office and I ended up owing money. I went back this year and with what I seen I grabbed my stuff and left. I went to the other location on Wyandotte St East. The service difference was phenomenal! They were soo much nicer and more professional. If it wasn't for them I would be going to another company to get my taxes done!

Hahaha I really don't think you want me to answer that question of how my experience was.i will never ever ever deal with them again or refer anyone to them period it won't let me post without a star rating but if there was a minus star rating it would be -100
Yelda at the Erie st location helped me get the biggest refund I've ever gotten!!! I was in and out in less than half an hour, with everything clearly outlined and itemized for me. Will definitely be back next year and every year after that
My suggestion: try another Liberty Tax location if you are unhappy with this one. Lincoln & Wyandotte is not closed, we are here to serve you year round.
