Last time I was here, they were redecorating...very nicely done! Friendly front desk staff, comfortable bed & pillows and great bathroom. I really enjoy their breakfast before heading to the airport. Highly recommended!

Staff was lacking customer service. I had to change rooms twice due to the overwhelming smell of cigarettes. When I asked to be moved, it was perceived that I was the inconvenience. Moved to the second room with my toddler and it smelled worse. Needless to say our clothes stink. My husband walked in and also immediately smelled it but we didn’t want to change yet again with a little one and figured if two rooms already smelled, a third would too. Their website said they were serving breakfast so as travelers we did not prepare our own food. I was met with an attitude of due to COVID but other hotels are able to accommodate individual packaged food. We’ve stayed here before and we had a great experience so I’m disappointed at this stay.

I’ve been a La Quinta rewards member for years now. This location is just fine. Yes, there are renovations in progress. This is to bring us an even better stay. There are clear signs as to where to check-in, breakfast, etc. posted when you walk in. The room was spotless and quiet. Staff members were very courteous.

Great place extremely quiet at night, guests also very quiet and little to no door slamming and no loud conversations you can hear coming from other rooms.

Great hotel! I was really grateful to find they also have an airport shuttle. I stayed here twice in about a month, and I'll be staying again for future trips to the Hartford area. Fun art on the walls too in the rooms. It looks like they updated the rooms in the last couple years as well.

The entire atmosphere and ambiance of this place was like a "No Tell Hotel", cheap furnishings, no amenities, poor service. None of the amenities stated on the web site were available (continental breakfast), nor was I given a veteran's discount when I reserved a room. The bathroom for the ADA room was TINY, I barely had room to turn around . I had to change rooms due to a lot of noise coming from the room next door, and wasn't given another ADA room.. The toilet in that room was the size and height I would expect in a grammar school. Noisy compressor on the dorm sized fridge, heating "system" was a wall unit that did not control any temperature that was set (Initially set to "cool" in mid Jan in New England). Windows leaked cold air. The door had a gap of apx 1" at the bottom, not to mention the gap all the way around. Apparently the mandates about masks was not followed, especially by the LOUD and boisterous crowd of young adults in the lobby area, while the clerk just sat and played with his phone., yet I received a glare from the clerk while I was trying to put my mask on before entering the lobby. When trying to get directions to any fast food restaurant locally, I got a mumbled, barely coherent response that sounded like "maybe 5 miles down the road". There was a Burger King about 200 yds. away as I found out later. In the morning, while taking a shower, I watched a black blob of some substance wash down he shower wall. There wee holes n he room darkening shade, and it didn't go all the way across the window. Next, when I got the charge on my credit card, it was at the full cost plus taxes, wish an unknown additional cost. No paperwork was received nor any explanation was given. The morning desk person was friendly and helpful. Overall, I wasted over 90 in a place that wasn't very clean, welcoming or comfortable. The web site for this hotel as VERY inaccurate, almost deceptive. I would NOT recommend this particular hotel unless you were totally desperate.
