This municipal park is a conservation area that is beautiful for family walks, no matter what the season. It also protects some very special animal and plant species found only in this local region. Well worth a few hours of your time.

You would think that things would slow down, but regularly 9 to 10 does and bucks are ready to come close and be fed, preferring carrots and apples. Shout out to WalMart for dollar bags. Recently Greater Horned Owls have been heard and seen best before 8am. A Coopers Hawk visit too setting off the sparrows in a noisy frenzy at the bushes around the feeding centre.

In itself, it's a great park and well maintained lately. Although it often seems over crowded and I see too many visitors trying to feed the wildlife for their pictures.
