The car park on other side of the road is convenient for the beach, where you can, in winter, view the trees on Peche Island, home to many Bald Eagles. Next to the parking lot is the western end of the Ganatchio Trail. Sighted my first Red Breasted Nuthatch here.

Great place to hang out with your family and friends. Sand Point beach is great because it has lot of thing to do there like Kayaking,Swimming and Collecting rocks and shells. It has lots of places to sit and eat and also a play ground for kids Lots of Birds and Bee overhead . It more rocky than sandy. The water does have a green flag but the water has Seaweed and pollution from the boats.
We love Windsor's Sand Point Beach that scenery here is very well and breeze so good. Recently the beach's open time has a little bit different but walkway always free for peoples. And this walkway is slope style so friendly for everyone. And the most intimate thing is washrooms opening, truly convenient for us.
Great, scenic views of Lake St. Clair and the mouth of the Detroit River, Peche Island, and the sweet little cottage community around Stop 26 Ice Cream Parlour.
The beach is more rocky than sandy. It hurts your feet to walk on it but it's pretty clean. The bathrooms have A MILLION spiders and spider webs inside. The park next to the beach is nice but there's A LOT of bees that will hover around you all the time. There's some dog poop in the grass too. It was an okay time when I went on a picnic with my family but I don't think I'm gonna come here again.
