I have two children who attend Serendipity. It isn't only a child care center, but a second home to my children. Their facility is always clean and they provide nothing under a safe environment for the children who attend there. The staff are always showing sensitivity to each parent's request and putting the well being of my children first at all times. They are always smiling and genuinely love children and their job. This is not the first daycare my children have attended, but it will be the last. My children arrive happy, and I pick them up just as happy. I feel nothing but content leaving them at Serendipity, knowing they will be just as loved and taken care of as at home. The owners are also fantastic! They are both friendly and very professional individuals. If I ever need to address anything I feel I can always speak with them openly. They are always putting the needs of my children and my concerns above everything else. I would strongly recommend this daycare center to anyone.
They wouldn’t hold my 5 month old when I dropped him off because they didn’t think he should be crying when I left. One day my mom went to pick him up early and they had left him crying himself to sleep in a stroller in the hallway. He never went back, should be shut down.
My child attend the daycare for almost a year. Had many issues, floors being dirty, other infants being allowed to chew on my child's bottles, unprofessional staff, six month old only being fed once all day, child not taken outside for 3 months straight because it was Jan-Mar and the staff didn't want to be cold. The biggest issue was when they continue to break the Day Nurseries Act by under staffing the infant room on multiple occasions. It happen seven times that I am aware of that they had more than 3 babies per staff in the morning. They weren't any extra staff in the building and if there was a fire during this time, I am convinced children would die. They also broke the Day Nurseries Act by combining older children into the infant room. On multiple occasions I spoke with the owners about the under staffing in the infant room. They were not willing to add an additional worker during this time, despite they are required to by law. I paid on average a thousand dollars a month to this daycare that routinely put my child at risk. I eventually pulled by child from this daycare because it was no longer safe. I was also forced to report them for their failure to comply with the Day Nurseries Act. I would not recommend this daycare to anyone who wants their children to be safe. There are better options than this and daycares that follow the staff to child ratios.
