My husband & I recently decided to update our bathroom. We saw Smart Bath advertised in the Lasalle Post and decided to call. We were very happy that we did. Within a day, Vern and Gloria came out to our house, sat down with us and listened to our wants and needs. They came up quickly with a design that we really liked. They were very professional and knowledgeable. All the products were high quality. We were very impressed with their proficiency. Paul and Dave were very professional and knowledgeable. We felt very comfortable having them working in our house. Plus they were great with our dog (which we really appreciated). Stephanie in the office kept us informed of materials being delivered . They were a great team to work with. We would recommend Smart Bath to anyone wanting good quality work done in their home. We have had so many compliments on our new bathroom. We really appreciate all the help this company gave us.
This review is long overdue. Over two years ago, my husband spent 3 weeks in the hospital and we needed to change our shower to accommodate his needs. Vern and Gloria were amazing, sharing their knowledge, skills and compassion. The quality of workmanship was outstanding. My husband was able to enjoy a hot shower almost every day. Thank you Vern and Gloria for providing this quality of care for him.
I would like to edit my review to give them a -5 stars. We recently called them to have a repair done (that was there mess up in the first place) to not only NOT get a phone call back, when we did get a hold of them (a month later) we were told that no one would be coming by to repair anything for us - ever. Because, they didn't like the truthful review that i placed on there google page - to warn other people to not use there services (for this exact reason). They were rude to my boyfriend on the phone and basically told him "too bad, so sad", and we get screwed that they did a horrible job and won't fix it because I left a truthful review on there google to warn other customers. So now we are left with cracking grout, gaps in our tile and a chipped tub. We got this done last September - and I wish we would have went with Lowe's like we intended. Instead we decided to support a local business and got this in return. We are furious and disappointed all in one - now we have to spend another 1000 to fix all their mistakes. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. _____________________________________________________________________ If I could give them 0 stars I would. Don't waste your time or money with this company. They have no problem taking your money, and doing a terrible job. It's not like their prices are cheap either, we figured we'd go with them, spend a bit more money for the services (to get what you pay for attitude). We were met with late appointments, no phone calls and half assed work. The company left all the garbage at our house that I had to call and complain to have them move it (which i was told in the contract all garbage would be taken),damaged our laminate floor, and holes left in the wall where grout should meet the tile. They even tried to charge us more money after the fact! It hasn't even been a year and the tub we had refaced is already chipping... I guess now we're wiser, and know to look into things more.
These folks are great. The job was completed on time and with minimal disruption. We get compliments--one person thought the tub was new. Good product and quality materials. Highly recommended!
Absolutly terrible experience with these people. They completely messed up my bathroom, and left garbage all over my backyard. The man who did my bathroom has been fired but the company refuses to fix any cracks and mess ups. I wouldn't never use smart bath again for any of my bathroom needs.
