If you're visiting from outside London, Ontario, and you've had a better all-you-can-eat sushi bar experience, then this place is not for you. The food tasted it's cooked with very old-used-so-many-times cooking oil. I can taste the burnt sauce. The servers are not really happy to serve the food. I did not see anyone smile at all. They kinda just throw the plates on the table when serving your order. They're not attentive. You have to ask for your empty plates to be picked up. Water is usually served before hand, even before you place an order. We have to ask for it. The green tea had no taste at all, it would have been better if I just ordered hot water! No one is asking if everything is okay or we need anything. Really bad experience and food is not worth it.

Located in the lot as the theatres, this used to be a Montana. You can recognize the franchise ambiance as you enter less the interior artifacts. Vigilantly set up for the pandemic. Acrylic / plastic shields divide each booth. Contact tracing and temperature readings at the door. Bar area is shut down. Dinner menu and pricing only during lunch. Order on the pad and freshly prepared. Great service as each plate flows out from the kitchen.

Wonderful meal, all you can eat sushi and dim sum items. Our group of six family members enjoyed so many different morsels which kept being delivered to our table. Ordering from a tablet is also a fun way to order up the meal. We each ordered our favorite items and we all tried something new to us. A great place to try a new experience.

The food was really good and the service was quite fast. This restaurant is in an old Montana's so it's somewhat unusual to see the old western area decor in an all you can eat Japanese restaurant. With COVID out there they did a fantastic job of protecting the customer. They had plexiglass around each and every booth and there was a temperature sensor in the entrance which you must use and pass to eat there. Again the food was really good, but the staff was really not into being there. They seemed unhappy to be working there and this was our first time there so not sure if things changed from when it first opened. I know it's not a cultural thing as I have dined at many Asian restaurants all over the world so it unfortunately put a damper on our visit there. Give it a shot, hopefully they are in a more upbeat mood but you will enjoy the food, that is for sure.

Taka is my favorite sushi spot to eat as they have so much variety in food selections. I think the waiters could have a lot more of a positive attitude there a bit stiff. But the food more than makes up for that. Two thumbs up
