I had the occasion to speak with Scott Troup on the telephone regarding an offer that was submitted for a purchaser. details to follow , let me start by mentioning the text messages and Mr Troups unwillingness to follow protocol. Scott was under the impression that I was not doing my work properly and decided to take matters into his own hands without so much as a phone call to me , he saw fit to disregard my purchasers offer and create a new offer that would then be submitted to the seller without regard for presenting the offer I submitted. Upon learning this I decided to contact Scott by phone and discuss this unethical practice he was conducting without regard for my Buyer. I take this business very seriously and find that because I am licensed in Toronto there is a stigma with dealings in the Windsor Region by some Sales Persons and their unwarranted disrespect for outside agencies , not only is this completely unethical in practice but also totally unfair the Windsor area sellers attempting to sell their properties as I am sure they care not who brings buyers or the agents doing so. Scott let me know that he was unhappy with my questioning his practices and made suggestions that I did not know what I was doing, this made me a bit angry and I let Scott know that he was wrong. Scott Troup then proceeded to tell me "you have no idea who you're talking to" in a threatening manner as if to say I better be careful what I say. I asked him at that point to please get this done so I can report back to my buyer . We in the Real Estate Industry are here to serve the public , fairly and professionally and in an ethical manner and in doing so this should be without personal feelings or ego . I have since sent a Message to Scott Troup asking that another Agent communicate with me as it seems he has created an uncomfortable scenario in this transaction and neither the Seller nor the Buyer should be injured as a result of his personality conflicts.
