I was bit turned around, but saw this place and i couldn't help it but check it out. At first the place was closed during business hours. Then after a few minutes, like 5, the owner opened up. Its a neat little shop. I ended up buying a beer brewing book. Didn't want to leave empty handed. It was very nice.

I like to support local brick and mortar. They are friendly but pricey. The store is somewhat haphazardly stocked and organized. An alternative if you are local and need something (they carry) quickly.

Joan and Paul are the nicest people. They were about to close and I was sitting in traffic, so I called Joan and she said she would stay open and wait for me. That was very nice of her!

When other reviews say they don’t have much, they mean it. I was looking for the most basic equipment (a plastic primary fermenter) and they didn’t have it. They also didn’t carry all of the ingredients to make a single batch of beer, no matter what style you are trying to make. It looks like the place has been looted inside as there most of the shelves were completely empty.

This place is great! The people are VERY helpful, they even weighed out my ingredients for me since I don't have a scale at home. Great people with a great business. Will be going back for sure!

I bought my first home brew kit here a few years ago. They were very helpful. Just yesterday I realized I was out of Beer Line Cleaner for a party I'm having today. It was 5:35 p.m. when I called and asked if they could wait for me. The gentleman said no problem. I flew over there and now my lines are clean for todays party. I'm very grateful . I'd highly recommend this gem of a store. Not many little mom and pop home brew shops around, so this is a great little shop to support. Nice people.

I have been going to the Wine and Beer Emporium in Chadds Ford PA, for 15 years and I have never been disappointed . They have a great selection of wine making kits along with everything I need to bottle . Clean , well stocked , and very accommodating !The prices are the same as the internet , but what makes a difference is that you actually get a live person to help you not having to wait to research on the internet ! Its not near me but so well worth my trip !

Higher than average prices, poor stock on hand for beer-making, several occasions of 'lights off and closed" during posted hours and less than admirable return policy. The yeast vials are few and often take an extra half day in the erlenmyer flask starter; moreover, they cost about 3 dollars more than the other homebrew shops that I frequent. My uncle bought me bungs there one time, and he was confused as to whether I needed a hole in it or not so he bought both. I went to return the bung the very next day, and they refused to give me the roughly 55 cents back, even in store credit. I told them they could have the bung and they would likely never see me in the shop again.. They didn't protest as I walked out the door.
