Our 4 year old son had a nasty break in his arm. Our local hospital made it sound like nothing could be done. They were going to send us to peoria but were told they couldn't do anything either it was to close to the growth plate. We were sent here. Scared that there was serious issues because of what we were told, we got in and xrays immediately. The dr assured us that this was more common than our crummy hospital made it sound. Surgery took less than an hour and everything went perfect. The staff was amazingly nice and helpful. They treated my son great as he was scared and in a ton of pain. We are so blessed that we were sent to this hospital. I recommend it to everyone who has children!!!

The nurses and doctors make this place amazing. I will forever kerp their kindness in my heart.the support i had when my daughter was brought to the NICU was like they were family. Very warm and helpful.

Wonderful care at Laurie’s at CDH. My son was going in to have a cyst removed and was going under anesthesia, which I was worried about. The nurses and anesthesiologist made us feel comfortable and the most important is that he went under ok and woke up without complications.
