We purchased our home here in WV. Along comes the tax assessor. Saying someone in the department hadn't done their job and missed the giant wrap around porch that had been here for years before we purchased. Our taxes jumped from 600.00 a year to 1200 a year. They wonder why people are leaving WV? Shady practices and over charging the general public. Move to a different county this one isn't worth it.
