The food was Great!!! The female bartender was wonderful!!! I'm a truck driver, I recommend any trucker driving down that way. It's probably 5 different places you can park your truck. Best food Ever!!!!

The Bakarra Basque Bistro is amazing! The food is incredible! I had the 12 oz steak which was cooked to perfection, also the crouquets were a perfect appetizer. We choose "family style" which is when you are served a delicious soup, salad and beans to accompany your meal...everything was fantastic! And the service was 5 star, we left feeling well taken care of.

The service was great, the cocktails were delicious, the cabbage soup was great the salad with beans was awesome the appetizers were amazing, my steak was cooked perfectly with awesome taste! Better than the star in my opinion. Will stop there every time I’m in winnemucca. Thanks guys!

The 12 oz. boneless riveted was the so tender you didn't need a knife! Cabbage soup was a real surprise...loved it!
The food is very good but way overpriced for this tiny town. Still service is good. Good not great. Last time we orderred lamb shanks and were served lamb chops. Also that same visit they charged my card for a bill for the day before, we weren't even there that day. Luckily they must have realized the mistake and the charge dropped off my card.
Food was great. It was a banquet, so no stew. Missed that! Bread, salad, beans, potato, steak, brownie... Everyone left full, and they do offer a vegetarian option. The banquet area is really nice.
