Just spoke to Sandy asking for information on Covid insurance and she was extremely condescending and extremely insensitive when I told her I had to travel as my father just passed away. She bluntly told me with a laugh thats not essential travel.

Whenever we require travel insurance, we send an e-mail to our agent, Pam. She responds the same day or next business day with the online items to click on. Easy peasy! And if there are any difficulties on OUR END, she walks us through how to fix our entries. Fabulous agent and wonderful company!

Returned to Canada unexpectedly and had to cancel coverage. Mediquote held on to my rebate and subsequently used it to cover my ensuing policy. Saved a lot of paperwork. Representative was also very helpful in expediting new coverage.

I was very pleased with purchasing insurance from Medi-quotes, we decides rather late to go on a trip out side of Manitoba, and I was able to obtain insurance the next day. I had the quote the same day I called, and went ahead and filled out the questionnaire. They said the documents would come by Friday, and we where leaving on the Sunday, but I had them the next day after I sent in the paperwork. The people at Medi- quotes were so helpful, and pleasant. I would definitely recommend Medi - Quotes to all our friends and family.

ABANDONED BY MEDI-QUOTE DURING COVID-19 I understand that our circumstance was out of the ordinary, however, earlier this year in February 2020 we did not receive any support with flying home from Medi-quote because of the COVID-19 outbreak. My husband and I were expats living in China and we were vacationing in Bali for Chinese New Year when the COVID-19 pandemic broke out in mainland China. We read our Canadian Expat Policy about a Return Home benefit and needed confirmation about a flight home, however, we did not receive any support from our broker. She did not provide any other information about getting home except a couple of phone numbers to call. We were receiving contrary information from our broker and our Insurance provider about office hours and we notified her about this but she maintained that we are mistaken. When we complained, she maintained that she was considering many things from her end and was supporting us. However, she did not communicate exactly what she was doing to support us, so the lack of transparency was an added stress. We explained that because of different time zones, our attempts to get a hold of our Insurance provider during office hours was difficult. We explicitly asked her to make the phone call on our behalf to our Insurance provider because of the time zone and office hours issue, but she insisted that the number is 24/7 and we must call on our own. We felt utterly abandoned by Medi-quote. When we asked the insurance broker to send this issue to a supervisor, it looked like that's what she did but we did not get any follow up from the supervisor. After we returned back to Winnipeg, we asked to work with another broker continuing forward with our claims. The other insurance broker helped us out and we appreciate her help.
