We hired Painters Direct to repair some stucco damage from the installation of a new patio door as well as a few odds and ends. Doug and his team was great to deal with from start to finish. He was prompt with the estimate and came through big time with the end result. The stucco repair matched the existing stucco so well we did not have to paint. We couldn't be happier.

I had a project converting a single family dwelling to an up-and-down duplex last year. Due to building code requirements I had to block off few windows. I initially hired a guy I used to use to patch stucco for that project. The guy took 50% of deposit, only showed up twice to complete less than 20% of work and disappeared. By the time I realized he was never going to complete the work it was too late for the season. I contacted a few stucco contractors (including Painters Direct) desperately however unfortunately no one was able to help at the time as I missed the timing completely. The whole project still went along without completion of stucco patching and exterior painting. I basically had hard time trusting contractors at the time. However Doug Prins of Painters Direct followed up with me a few times regarding project status since the initial contact. Based on our conversations he seemed to be legit to me and cared about his (potential) customers. So I took him to the jobsite early of this spring for a walk-through and a quote. I did my due diligence on his company this time I decided to get it a shot. I accepted the quote and hired him for the project as it needed to be completed. The project was completed within 4 days as soon as the weather permitted and house looks absolutely gorgeous! They repaired all cracks around the foundation and even dumped backyard garbage piled up by tenants! The new stucco blends perfectly into existing stucco and I can’t tell there were windows before. I must say I’m very glad I hired Painters Direct. They are professional and their service is second to none. To be honest I initially doubted it as I have seen a lot of fake reviews online; however my experience matched up with their Google views. I will not hesitate to hire them for my next project. These guys are the Picasso of Stucco! My house needed some major stucco repairs, a number of minor repairs and plenty of touch ups. They matched the old 1968 stucco flawlessly and the painting job looks FANTASTIC! I would highly recommend Doug and his team at Painters Direct to anyone looking for stucco repairs and an expert paint job. You will not find a better more experienced team in this province. Great experience with Painters Direct. Doug was super helpful and detailed when assessing the crack I had on the outside of my house. He sent guys over to fix it within hours of our conversation and did a great job. There was an area on the wall that was below the crack and exposed, Doug noticed in the pictures and suggested for me to cover it up with something, but he actually ended up just covering it up with a piece of board for me without me asking or any extra charge! Also patched up a slight crack in the concrete on the base of the wall we were not expecting him to fix, again did it without any extra cost. Very very impressed with the service we received, would definitely recommend Painters Direct!
