UPDATE - I must admit I am impressed - one of their management tracked me down to ask for more details about my experience, and then sent a gift/gesture to my home as an apology. Mistakes happen, especially during a holiday season pandemic, so I happily accept the apology and appreciate them taking the time! Previously: While the bakery, butcher and wine shop are great, the service is terrible/rude. Literally abandoned me on hold six times today when I was trying to do a curbside pickup. They were going to bring a 150 order to my car, but I was honest and reminded them I hadn't paid. Without thanking me they told me to come into the store to the desk. Woman at the desk was on the phone. When she finally hung up and I explained I was there to pay, she told me I was in the wrong spot and how could I assume I could pay anywhere but the register? Very rude considering I was following the instructions they gave me (and also, I have paid curbside at dozens of places... get with the times). The price i paid for honesty was not only the but also my mood. Hard to justify the high prices when there is so little regard and respect for their customers.

This is always a great place to go for your Italian cooking and baking needs. Everything is fresh and and really good. If you don't want to cook, the they have a nice variety of pre-cooked food and meals. You also can visit the wine area to pair with your meal.

Placed a large order over the phone, consisting of 5 gift baskets/holiday wine gift boxes on 7DEC2020. Spent 20 minutes providing the details for the recipients along with a thank you message for each. Delivery was scheduled for 14DEC2020. Very disappointed to learn that my instructions were not followed. One delivery was dropped off at the correct address with no Recipient name and no thank you message, so no one at that office knew who it was for or who sent the gift. Another delivery was missing the additional special box of chocolates I requested to add on. Called De Nardi twice to follow up on what happened, I provided absolutely every detail necessary to investigate where the issues occurred and never received a call back. It's been 3 weeks since I discussed this with De Nardi. We spend a lot of money at De Nardi every year for year end gifts. I understand it's a busy time of year, however mistakes like this are so careless. The service was so terrible and extremely disappointing, I will have to shop elsewhere next year.

Very disappointing experience. I'd give 0 stars for customer service if I could. Coming from a hospitality/customer service background I have to say I'm very insulted. Over the weekend we recieved a gift from friends overseas. They were lovely enough to order 150 worth of product for a birthday. Unfortunately the wine was not what my sisters palette drinks and asked if we could simply return the wine and get something different at the same value. There was no empathy whatsoever. In fact he suggested to use 12 bottles of wine for cooking. So insulting after our friends legitimately thought they were getting her a thoughtful gift. From experience you can get good wine in Australia at that price point. These ones of course are good for one thing, cooking! How unfortunate

It's my favorite place. Unreal cakes and bread. The ready to eat food is out of this world!
