Great atmosphere (especially when the electricity cut out - provided a little thrill)! The big lights hard on my aging eyes, but got used to it. I appreciate the fans’ cheering for any and all good shots, no matter who the favoured team were! Thanks Princess Auto for hats!

The facility is great but this review is to highlight a staffing issue experienced this Saturday morning. An 8:00 am hockey game requires change room access a full 30 minutes in advance. My understanding is that a staff person was scheduled to start at 7:45, but didn't show until until 8:00. It seems that 1) Management may need to allow for more prep time when scheduling staff to open facilities, or provide swimming staff with keys to rink change rooms & 2) ensure staff are punctual. Thanks for considering the suggestions.

We had a fair bit of trouble to start, primarily because the employee who should have been scheduled to set things up for us (I.e. turn on the auditorium lights for our event), arrived 5 min late. Some genius had the bright idea to schedule him for exactly the requested time rather than 15 min earlier, and we were stuck in the dark for about 15 minutes. Not impressed. We were also told to put our drinks in the fridge to cool, and we came in to find everything was moved out and warm.

Good pool and drink, but the gym facilities are horribly dated. Machines and benches cramped together, only a single power rack (Smith machine doesn't count, obviously) and it is showing its age. Bathroom has a leaky pipe and a large jug of soap in place of working soap dispensers. All plates are the older metal kind that are a pain to move around in cramped areas like that. Possible to do a good work out still, but the state of this city gym vs the Centennial gym is like night and day. Even with the limited space, just updating some equipment and not trying to have so many machines in such a small area would go a long way. Other areas of this center are fine though.

Brought my daughter here for skating lessons. Nice facility, kept clean, lots of seating in the bleachers, adequate parking, and friendly staff

The swimming lessons are awesome, no family change room.
