His place is a little hidden on the east side of the road. Not many gun smith's around anymore. I brought something in and he said he will enjoy working on it. Good to know. Also does transfers and sales.

Brought a model 88 in that was missing some parts and needed to be put back together and it was returned to me in perfect working condition. Highly recommend.

Bar D Stables

Prices seem to be a bit on the high side and the owner seems a bit reserved. If you like a quiet store this place is for you. They did carry most things, including bait. After one visit I bought bait for ice fishing. He forgot to put enough water in the bucket and by the time I got to the lake they were all dead. I called and he made it right by replacing the whole dozen. So although it was a hassle, customer service was exemplary.

My dad and I have personally bought quite a few firearms and firearm accessories from Frank for many years now. Frank is very knowledgeable about what he sell's and what part's or accessories would work best on any given firearm. If you want a straight forward answer and good advice go to Frank. If you want someone to fill you up with BS advice or a cocky answer go to a big box sporting good store; you will NOT find this at Habisch Outdoors.
