Cafe was closed for Covid and hadn't reopened, yet; only 13 people live in Chloride! The Museum and Gallery were both open and worth the stop. The town is close enough to T or C for a quick sightseeing trip!

Update: Unfortunately the restaurant is currently closed. This is a great place to visit and enjoy a good meal in a historic ghost town. The proprietors are friendly and the food is excellent quality and reasonably priced. They pride themselves on their homemade desserts. Make it a day trip and explore the town. The museum and store are both worth the time to see. This town has been lovingly restored and has that Wild West feel. Please note that the cafe is in Chloride NM not Caballo. I changed the location on the map, hopefully Google fixed this.

Food was awesome; Navajo Taco and Dessert was bread pudding with rum. Service and food preparation was the absolute best. The chef will manage La Cocina at some future date. Hope the restaurant owners in chloride will hire some good people to continue good food.
