I tried using Locksley Cameron as my CPA a couple years ago, 2019 I believe. He had an intern at the time that prepared my tax return. Later that year, I was refinancing a property that I own and the underwriter discovered my taxes were incomplete. Additionally, when I interviewed Locksley before giving him my business and disclosed the extent of my return (several investments and properties) he said it would cost 400-500. He charged me over 1,000! Locksley admitted via email to me that he did not review my tax preparation done by his intern. He refused to refund any portion of what he charged me for his intern’s errors, even though the service he provided was not completed nor accurate. If you have an “easy” return, he might be more up your alley. But do not trust this man with anything more than a simple return.
