If you don't bring your own skis to e.g. the Landal resort in Winterberg, Poppenberg is a good shop to rent your equipment. They were helpful with getting it fitted and are located very very close to the slopes. You can also drive there with your car and park very close to the entrance which can be handy. Prices of course fairly elevated as you would expect given location.

Maybe they can have good lessons, but what unfriendly staff!!! The guy at the computer was for sure on facebook, barely took his face off the screen!!
Very positive about this place. Very reasonable pricing, good service. The workflow is set up very well, providing the your details on a screen after which the personnel helps you very fast. Also, I am very happy about the multilingualism of the personnel at this palce. Definitely a place I recommend to others.
