It's much better atmosphere at night with the hanging lights but this is a good park to go to regardless. There are about 4 pokemon go stops if you play, and two gyms closer to the park. There is a good sized gazebo that the kids like to run around in. They even put in a bench or two. There are several picnic areas as well. 48hour parking so you don't have to worry about coins and meter maids. Also it is near a nice nature trail.

Great place for morning breakfast - bring your own, or stop off at either Lester Farms Bakery or Steady Eddys, grab a picnic table and enjoy the outdoors, social distancing included. Afterwards, you're right there for a post meal amble down the creek path. Perfect.

In this day & age it is almost unbelievable that there still are small towns that have that small town feeling. This park embodies that feeling. Winters has managed to retain that small town charm with this small park in the middle of downtown. The wonderful large shade trees, the expanse of neatly trimmed grass & the lovely gazebo. When you envision the town square park in Anytown USA this is exactly what your mind pictures. Even though it is in the middle of town, it is a quiet and relaxing place. LOVE THIS PARK!

This is a cute little park with a quaint gazebo right in downtown Winters. The hustle and bustle of the small downtown area is nearby. The park is shaded with a couple picnic tables and a public restroom.
