Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team® training (based on Lencioni’s Five Dysfunctions of a Team): Team development program to help team members understand, embrace, and put into practice the Five Behaviors. Uses DiSC® to undergird the building of trust, leading to healthy confilct around ideas, creating commitment, accountability, and results. Leadership training: With content is research-based and proven in the real world, delivery will be fast-paced and high-energy and combines story, discussion, and activity. The eight component leadership model moves leadership theory into actionable content. Two notions woven throughout: No one can lead unless they are acting at a higher level of maturity and selflessness than those they lead. The fundamental role of the leader is to “meet needs.” This applies to the organization and to the individual. The content of the curriculum answers the question “how do I put this into action.” Communication: 3 obstacles and their solutions Three major obstacles to connection in communication will be explored: Maturity in the moment/ self-focus rather than team focus. Personality styles Lack of being specific, both in terms of assuming motives, and in choosing words. Participants will learn words to use, words, to avoid, and methods for providing feedback that get more immediate connection.
