There was a bit of a wait, but the staff did the best they could given everything going on with the pandemic. Once we ordered, the food was quick and very tasty! The service was great and we were well taken care of. If you’re passing through Winthrop, make sure to stop by Duck Brand!

Nice rooms, criminal service. My girlfriend and I went up to Winthrop to watch the hot air balloon festival on Mar 6th. They had sent my girlfriend an email saying that they would be gone, and so they had taped the key to our room to the front door of the establishment. (Why?!) Upon arrival, our key was NOT where they said it would be. We called, they didn't pick up. Finally called us back a little later and told us we could not get our key until 3pm (not in the email they sent) It was at that time 11am. Also there was a gentleman there who I watched PUNCH the hotel (sketchy!) So after wandering around town, the finally call and let us check in at 2pm. Rooms looks excellent, everything works, good view. My girlfirend and I decide to leave to Omak. The key ring the gave us is about the size of a coffee mug aka not something to lug around with you. So, I took one of the two keys off the ring, figuring theyre the same key since theyre not labeled, and left. Upon return 1. A man got onto the roof from a random construction ladder unprotected and going up the back of the building, and 2. Our key didnt open our door. Mind you it is now 830pm, and its cold. There is no front desk to speak of. We call, and unsurprisingly, get no where. LUCKILY, the neighbor let us on the patio to unlock the patio door with the key we had, though it bears NO label. Nice hotel, 4 out of 7.
This is a cute restaurant, I'm not sure about Hotel because we only ate there. They serve Mexican food an it was pretty good. Nice to see them open considering we are 8 months into this Covid-19 pandemic.
After a morning of motorcycling, a stop at The Duck Brand is just perfect. The staff is friendly and attentive. The kitchen does an amazing job. Whether it's the Cobb Salad or the Duck Quesadilla, you can't go without. The beverages were serve properly, they tasted great. Next time you're in Winthrop, WA, USA Make a point of visiting.
Stopped here on a trip from Spokane to San Juan island. It was great! Stayed in the double room with a balcony. The room was clean, the deck is nice. Looking out the windows you feel like your in a treehouse. It really is cool. The food in the restaurant was good. Service was average. There is parking in the back.
I was not impressed. Felt like an upscale Taco Bell. When you enter you have to look at menu attached to a table. Your order is taken when you are seated. No chips & salsa. Food was delivered within 10 minutes. Portions were acceptable but not generous. Favor was okay. Combo meal was about 13 each. One really annoying thing was the cook keep hammer a pot/skillet with a spoon. Over and over again and again. Hopefully he does not continue that the rest of the night.
Though we had a bit of a wait to order, the burgers were great and my margarita was delicious! It's a nice deck they have which gets shade in the middle of the day. It was a nice end to a fun afternoon of tubing.
Note that I'm only reviewing the restaurant side of it, I haven't stayed in the hotel part. The restaurant was great! Good food, done well, servers were friendly & prompt. Cool atmosphere, eating on the outdoor deck is fun.
