My mom took my son I there today he is special needs, she was told he needs to leave due to him not being able to wear a mask. Of course my mom went out when my son, my brother was still in the shop and the lady starting telling my brother If my son couldn’t wear a mask than he shouldn’t be brought out with the public. My brother told her to mind her own business and than left, she followed my brother outside and kept going on about it. My brother is a hot head and told her to go F off . My mom was really hurt we have bought stuff from that’s store every time we go. This lady needs to open up her mind and know not everyone can wear a mask and that special needs people have a right to go out and enjoy life too.

Wonderful display store and beautiful creations! Glad I did not bring my small children in. Definitely recommend a visit here. Very colorful and exciting!
Glassworks is a beautiful little shop and was our absolute favorite in Winthrop. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality and craft of the blown glass. We bought two ornaments, two magnets, and a lowball glass. Garth is a true artist and an amazingly talented glass blower, not to mention an all-around great guy. We had a lovely conversation, and he even went into his workshop to make a couple of strong hooks for our ornaments!
Glassworks of Winthrop is the star of Winthrop. The beautiful art here is worth the trip alone and we look forward to it. I can't wait until I need to buy some gifts -- this is my favorite all-time shop! PS. I'm from PA, I've traveled the continent and now live in WA.
I Love to see an artist in a working studio and to support the arts
