This was our first time visiting Winthrop. We decided to have breakfast here before heading out to N. Cascades Park. In Winthrop, we found it was hard to find a quick breakfast restaurant. After searching for awhile, we found this bakery. They offered the typical quick breakfast food like sandwiches, bagels, coffee, etc. We got the sausage and egg sandwiches, and they were fantastic. The coffee was also great too. The food is also reasonably priced. We got our meal and then went out to their beautiful outdoor seating area. Make sure to get there early enough, because when we arrived at 9 am, most of the popular sandwiches were gone. The sandwiches are the heartiest meal there and I can see why they go so fast. I believe the bakery should find a way to increase the supply of the sandwiches. All in all, this place was fantastic!

Couldn’t choose what pastries to get so we basically got everything! The cinnamon rolls and buttermilk coffee cake were to die for, and their breakfast sandwiches are the perfect fuel for a day of playing outside. Coffee was delicious as well!

This is by far the best place to grab coffee and a pastry in town. The people who work the place are a delight, and you have the option of any baked good you can think of. The coffee is rich and delicious and strong (three qualities I greatly admire), but be prepared that the baked goods are very rich and buttery, particularly the breakfast sandwhiches. I highly enjoyed the quiche, but the berry scones could have used more berries. All in all, I will be back.

Nice place! Lots of sweet and savory pastries to choose from, plenty of vegetarian items and ones with meat. Sampled two savories (a sandwich and a quiche), which were both quite tasty. Prices weren't bad either. The ambience is lovely, lots of wood and big windows, and there are lovely outdoor tables in the back right by the river!

I used to love stopping in while visiting, but the past several times I have come by for a coffee, the girls working in there have been extremely unpleasant. I know Winthrop is a busy tourist town, and 2020 hasn’t been great, but I still expect to have a decent interaction while ordering. The last time I was there, they forgot half of the order of the people ahead of me, and when confronted, did not offer an apology. Their drinks are always great quality, and I would have hope the same from the staff. Not planning to stop on again anytime soon, unfortunately.
