Amazing little walk with the family... perfect day for it and really easy for the youngest too...

Big sandstone crop in a wooded area. Beautiful surroundings, spend a couple of hours walking around, go to the pub and eat.

A mysterious local landmark, believed to be the place of past Viking worship in honour of the Norse God Thor. It's where the village of Thursaston got its name from.

Wonderful spot out in the woods at Royden park behind the Caffes. Excellent climbing for kids. And a source of good memories!

Great place to visit and explore. Fascinating to see the gullies carved with the weather and thousands of feet over the centuries. Interesting carvings all over the rock too. Easy climb for children and adults with great views of the Common from the top.
