Pigeon Rescue

i lived there in from 1981-83 it got me away from very violent parents and i loved it the teachers did a great job-they helped me become the good person and charity worker i am today the headmaster was r,a, lamb and his wife and pet dog-bouncer does anyone remember? the staff have a very difficult job-but make the best of it if i could be a kid again i would go back there.......!

I worked at this school for two years and it was one of the best experiences I've had in teaching so far. This school is dedicated to helping young boys reach there potential in academics and most importantly, to go out and face life's challenges head on with fortitude and perseverance. While it is certainly a challenging environment to work in, the dedicated teachers, LSAs, boarding, maintenance staff and kitchen staff at this school make a difference everyday and should be given due recognition. The SLT and Admin are supportive and really care for the staff and the students education and well being. I learned a lot about education from this school and will never forget the staff and children that I worked with during my two year stay. Kudos to all you who are working there making a difference in the lives of these boys.

Really bad school windows getting smashed doors getting broken constant fights if your child is willing to learn they won't get taught teachers don't teach they give you worksheets usually the teacher is to busy sorting the kids who are misbehaving rather than focusing on the kids who want to learn. All the kids do all day is play might as well be a play school. The school is struggling to cope with kids :(

Well... Where do I start been there since year 6 fights happening constantly, lessons being distributed, you can't focus on your lesson because there's kids banging on the door and the staff do nothing to stop them since the new head has taken over very little has changed towards behaviour, If you want your child to leave the school with a form of a GCSE I wouldn't bother sending your child here! All you have to do is look at the Ofsted reports and Ofsted don't lie, headteachers do!!!!

Teachers wasn't that bad but This school does not help with the kids problems all they seem to do was to contact the police and have them arrested all the time The staff are not trained for kids with problems that why getting them arrested was the easiest way to sort the issue
