We visited early August 2018. Pretty new museum, with quite some interactive stuff for kids. Maybe our standards are low - we don't live in Munich and can't compare it to the Deutsches Museum- but kids and parents liked it a lot. Think about combining this with a visit to the little zoo down the road.
