There aren’t enough great words to say about 617 Weddings! Jimmie Espo was highly recommended by our venue, The Cliff House Maine, so we immediately contacted him online hoping he was available for our May 2020 wedding and he was. Within a day, Jimmie contacted us by phone to discuss our wedding ceremony plans and we ended up talking for an hour. We hit it off like we had known each other forever. He has such an amazing personality, friendly and put you at ease. He contacted us a few times as the planning moved forward and we met in person and that day was the beginning of what is now an incredible friendship. Then Covid hit, our wedding in Maine needed to be canceled only 2 weeks before our date, which was devastating to us, we postponed to August 2020, but really wanted our original date for sentimental reasons. We decided to do a small backyard wedding for just family and a few friends, out of the blue Jimmie calls us and offers to be our DJ and live-stream our wedding on Facebook so everyone could see us get married. We live 2 hours away from 617 Weddings Events, but they packed up their equipment and drove to our house without hesitation so all our family and friends could see our special day!! It was truly a heartfelt gesture that is something you can thank someone enough for. We did postpone our wedding to August 16, 2020 at the Cliff House Maine and of course 617 Wedding Events stood by us with all the date changes and Jimmie Espo was our amazing DJ again for this incredible wedding. His infectious smile and great personality lights up a room and makes everyone want to have a great time. Like I said, there are not enough words to express my thanks and appreciation to Jimmie Espo & 617 Wedding Events for making our weddings the most memorable days of our lives. And above all, we’ve gained an amazing friend for life!!! ️

Russell and team were amazing! Not only were they professional and fun (fit right in) they almost disappeared and had a way of capturing EVERY single moment but discretely. I simply cannot wait to see the final video! It was an absolute pleasure working with 617 throughout this wedding planning experience (added bonus they were super accommodating during the multiple changes to our special day due to the pandemic)

DJ Danny T was absolutely wonderful to work with! Throughout the entire process, he encouraged me to use 617 Weddings's planning portal which made song planning a breeze. We also had phone conferences on multiple occasions to go over details so that come wedding day, everything went off without a single hiccup! Despite having a slightly smaller crowd due to COVID, DJ Danny T had the entire room dancing! He was very professional; communicated well with myself, the wedding party, and all of our guests; and turned our wedding into the party we had hoped for. Thank you, Danny! You were amazing!

John Mullaney was fantastic! We found 617 weddings through my best friend, they did the videography for her wedding as well. We ended up having the same videographer, John, and couldn’t have been happier! He went above and beyond to make sure he got the best shot, was kind, professional, and very easy to work with. John worked well with our photographer (which I know can be tricky at times with two different mediums trying to capture the same moments). We would recommend using 617 weddings for your videography needs. Definitely worth every penny, and the best part was their price range was very reasonable considering some of the extremely high prices you can see out there for video. Another thing we appreciate about how they work is their non-intrusive manner. No big giant lights or cameras in your face while you’re trying to be in the moment on your wedding day.

Dimitri Soteropoulos is responsible for making our wedding the most fun and memorable night of our lives! It's only been two days since the wedding and I've received countless comments from guests that we had the BEST wedding they've ever been to. We even had guests say that they never stay until the end of weddings, including their own, and they stayed until the end of ours! Something I should also mention: we had a SMALL wedding of about 60 guests and the dance floor wasn't empty ONCE! The venue staff even mentioned they've never seen a dance floor packed all night long and never stop dancing. From my first conversation with Dimitri over a year out from my wedding I was impressed. Dimitri was professional, thorough, but most of all he became a friend that wanted to give us the best night of our lives and he wanted to know us in order to achieve that. He responded quickly to texts and emails, and he thought of every little detail of the flow of the day that I hadn't. I simply do not have enough positive things to say about Dimitri and highly recommend him to any bride & groom looking to make their wedding the most fun night of their lives no matter the number of people who attend!
