Bought a 20 year term life insurance policy and missed a payment in the eighteenth year. They would not renew the policy and started to bully me, sending poorly written questionnaires with random health questions. When I answered one, they would send another in an obvious effort to tire me out, which they did.

I've been doing business with this company for 40 years with my insurance needs. They have very good life insurance at an affordable rate. The only reason for the 4 stars is because of their website, it does not give you a lot of information on your account or for your needs.

Inept from every department and person you have to deal with. I cannot express the word INEPT in any other way. Educate yourself Do Not Use this company. They take your money with pleasure but do not want to pay a claim. They have stall tactics, fine printing etc to not pay a legitimate claim.

Problem 1: I was told I had 7 days to review and approve the quote provided, but they took the premium amount before I gave the ok. Not happy with it, I canceled the policy on 12/4/2019 and was told the amount would be credited back. Problem 2: On 01/08/2020 I called inquiring about the status of my refund. The attendant said they mailed a check on 12/5/2019. Problem 3: On 12/4/19, they said it would be credited back, not a single mention of a check. Problem 4: I never received any check. All my last interactions with this company were nothing but problems. I guess I’ll have to call every week until I’m refunded.
