I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Marc and his staff! Their obvious care for their patients, and their incredible knowledge of scoliosis, are far and away from what we were used to receiving at the "top" hospital we had up till then been visiting for my 14 year-old daughter's care. At every appointment, whether for a brace fitting, an x-ray review, or Schroth therapy, we have been met at every turn with kindness, respect, and a degree of competence and care that has exceeded all expectations. My daughter has only been in her Scoliosis 3DC brace for two months, so I cannot speak yet to permanent results, but all indications thus far are that the brace, and the Schroth therapy she has learned from Dr. Marc's staff, are improving her curve, something her orthopedist said was not possible at her age! For the first time in a long while, I have real hope that my daughter's condition is improving and I have 100% confidence in the people treating her. We have been a patient here for 5 years. This is by far the best place to have your scoliosis assesses, treated and managed. The personal care is incredible. We come from overseas because this is the only place that offers the Schroth method custom treatment, and bracing (with adjustments). 5 years ago our daughter was looking at surgery in 5-6 years, this is no longer necessary. I can’t thank Dr. Moramarco and his wonderful staff enough! The first X-ray is of what we started with, the second is most recent. The photo is of an exercise she is being taught.
Dr. Moramarco and his staff are all amazing people who have worked a miracle on my daughter's scoliosis. We went to their clinic a year ago to get the gensingen brace and learn some schroth exercises. My daughter's curves have not only improved since then, but she looks straighter and is pain free. We are so grateful for the knowledge they have given our family on how to deal with scoliosis.
I cannot say enough positives about Scoliosis 3DC, Dr. Moramarco, and his staff! As an MD (musculoskeletal radiologist) when my daughter was diagnosed with scoliosis I knew what the options were. Mild-wait and see if it gets worse, moderate-standard brace, severe-surgery. She was borderline mild to moderate. In my experience scoliosis doesn't get better. It stays the same or gets worse. I didn't want to do nothing so I knew I needed to look outside the standard allopathic options. After lots of research I decided get best chance was to find someone who could teach her corrective exercises and to get a brace that would "overcorrect" so that she would not only stop progression but have a chance at improvement. I looked at many options and most either much more expensive or had dubious qualifications. The week we spent in Boston with Dr. Moramarco and his team was fantastic. They are friendly and patient and we had a great time! The brace had done wonders. My daughter wears it as instructed and does her exercises. Her posture had improved dramatically. Her head used to be centered over her hip, but now you cannot even tell she has scoliosis. Her curve improved 6 degrees on her six month out of brace x-ray (as a radiologist believe me that I don't see this very often with usual treatment). Also she is now pain free. Dr. Marc's team is very response with follow-up (which is doing over email and phone) he has fixed her brace remotely and didn't charge anything for phone calls, emails, or sending me parts for the brace. If you or your child have scoliosis (be it mild it severe 9 you owe it to yourself to get in touch with Dr Marc and learn about your options.
We traveled from Texas to see Dr. Marc, Amy and the rest of the amazing team back in August 2017 to get a brace for our 9 year old daughter. I can't say enough about the experience - it was perfection from beginning to end. The knowledge and education that Dr. Marc and Amy shared was matched by the caring and supportive nature of the front office team. We didn't want to leave when the week was done. We are forever grateful for the 3DC team and are completely at peace with the path we are taking. Our daughter had her first out of brace x-ray six months later and we met with her orthopedic surgeon. He knew we had gone to Boston for the brace, Schroth, etc. even though his suggestion was to "watch and wait". When he looked at her x-rays his first comment was “Oh, did you forget that she was supposed to take the brace off for 24 hours before the x-ray?” When I told him that she’d had the brace off for more than 24 hours, he was shocked! Needless to say, he was very pleasantly surprised to see a true reduction in her curves. When I thanked him for being supportive even though we went against his advice he responded, "You can't argue with those results." We agree! In September 2018, we returned to Boston for our daughter's second brace - and the experience was just as amazing as the first time. Such a caring, dedicated team that made sure her brace was perfect before we returned home. Even better, her curve continues to decline with every set of x-rays. Thank you Scoliosis 3DC!
Everyone on the staff maintains a balance of being friendly and professional. More importantly, I can't believe the results the program has yielded in my daughter's scoliosis. I'm thankful everyday that we found this treatment. That the staff are so wonderful is an unexpected bonus.
Great team! Great experience! Trip was totally worth it. Thank you so much for taking care of us and for all your hard work within a short period of time. Thank you most of all for your patience with the brace and for paying attention to every concern we had. We appreciate the time spent on making sure that the brace, as effective as it is, was not a hindrance to the young lady's day to day style (she is going to get some smaller t-shirts!).
