Renter beware: Friendly staff at inspection and responsive over email/SMS. However when we applied to a place in Wolli Creek and got approved, we were told we had to pay 2 weeks deposit/holding fee but by NSW Fair Trading and law it's maximum 1 week holding fee allowed. Any way, after 1 day had passed of successful negotiations with 2 weeks free rent, they said the Landlord had retracted his offer with no reason given. The Landlord was also selling the same property as well as leasing the same unit at the same time. We were quite in rush to move so we really didn't need this to not go through. I have previously read other bad reviews of Wolli Creek Real Estate a few months ago but they seemed to have been scrubbed off Google Reviews.
