The chicken, potatoes and rice are delicious . I was really wanting to try the ribs but twice they were sold out so my BF called 90 minutes ahead to order them. He still had to wait 25 minutes when he got there. The ribs were horrible. They were tough and chewy. They had no sauce or flavor. 2 other times he phoned and ordered chicken dinners and still had to wait 30 and 45 minutes for them. There was only 1 person cutting up the chicken, while other employees just stood there waiting. Why don't you have more staff cutting it up? And what is the point of ordering ahead if you still have to wait so long? Appalling service. We're going to try somewhere else. It's too bad because the chicken is great but you need to improve the service.

Delicious periperi sauce, tangy with just a hint of a bite. Chicken is slow grilled, some may say it's over cooked, but I didn't mind. It's expected from the cooking style. Overall great value and a fulfilling meal.

There is always a line up for this juicy, delicious chicken. This is a testament to the fans this take-out has made over the years! I bought a meal for 4 and it was all under 35!! Everything was fresh: chicken, rice, potatoes, salad. I highly recommend this chicken at this particular location. Bravo!

Costa Verde may have the best Portuguese chicken in York Region. The rice and potatoes are great as well. Some items are not on the menu. So feel free to explore and ask. My go to is the half chicken with rice/potatoes with extra hot sauce. But they also do a good steak and eggs on a bed of fries. The owners are really nice and most of the staff are Sewell. They have dine-in but since they serve you in the same single use containers as take out/limited seating... I personally consider this a take out place more than a dine-in place. Great of ordering ahead and picking up. Speaking of ordering ahead. The food is good and fresh so part of that is you have to be willing to wait sometime for your chicken to cook. 5 stars.

Delicious chicken and tasteful sides. We had the rotisserie chicken and it was so good, paired with rice. I was offered a couple of sauces for the chicken but in my opinion there was no need; It was well seasoned and moist inside. There were many other options to try, like the half chicken on the grill, seemed very popular, also the salads and baked potatoes were appealing. When we arrived the place was packed with take out orders, the staff moves quickly and provided good service. There's a few tables to enjoy you food while it's hot but the majority of the patrons just took it home.
