Attended a wedding reception few days ago! It was such a simple classy place. I loved it. The chandeliers brought life to the space. The piano by the fire place in the lounge created a romantic atmosphere. I loved it - definitely well maintained.

My friends and I found the Dance Events on Sundays very enjoyable. Good music, good food, friendly staff, elegant venue, and dance lessons all included at a very reasonable admission of 15. Highly recommended for a wonderful night of dancing.
Absolute garbage service. Would never ever recommend this place to any couple. Broken glass outside, sticky floors. They promised two bartenders and didnt even have one when it came to the party, and asked if i could find someone. Actually pretty hilarious, no one from management was there but they called every day asking for payment. Not worth the stress please do not go to this place absolutely garbage management. Anya was calling me everyday for payment but when it came to party she was no where to be found. Her phone was off for the week. I actually want to report this place. They had the god damn receptionist running the party. Just funny.
Poor service. I won't recommend this banquet hall to anyone. I had a terrible experience with my sister's wedding. Spent the next day apologizing to our guest. The management will promise you the heavens and say yes to every request to get you to sign a contract. On the day of the event, Mike was no where to be found. Jimmy and Anya were rude to the guest and the vendors. The food was served late and tasted horrible.The drinks were flat and the bar was closed for a good half hour. They refused to even serve water. I wont recommend this place to anyone. Please go somewhere else.
I held my sons baptism here, I must say the room was set up beautifully for me. The food and presentation were fantastic!! The manager Ania has over 15 years experience under her belt, and her delivery definitely shows her competence and very close attention to detail. Their chef also comes from one of the number 1 restaurants in Toronto located in Yorkville....Best of the best here....Everything detailed in my contract by Jimmy was also bang on. Not one short fall here...we are very greatful and highly recommend!
Pick this place if you want your event ruined by mediocre service, horrible management, and empty promises. The owner's son, Mike, promised many things but did not follow through. One week before the event (wedding), he stopped answering calls and emails. His father, Jim, became in-charge of the event. And Jim is an unfair, rude, and inexperienced business owner. Jim hired high school or university students to be servers and bartenders - they were friendly and quick, but unfortunately there were only approximately 8-9 of them to serve 220 guests. They each carried 3 plates at a time, so it took a big deal of time to serve every guest their food. The kitchen staff consisted of 1 main chef and however many sous chefs - really slow service. The first course, antipasto, was great. The second course, salad, came out a bit slow, but at least made it to the tables. Then it all went downhill. They mistakenly used the wrong bowl to serve soup, which resulted in 60 LESS soups. At this time, the general manager (some older lady who should be retired) made no effort to come up with a solution. Instead, she made herself 'busy' somewhere nobody could find her. The owner also didn't seem to acknowledge or care about this issue - he just stood around looking at the tables. The entrees were brought out over an hour after the soup fiasco; entrees were cold. The desserts were also brought out very late. There were supposed to be 3 items on the dessert plate, but only 2 made it that night. The chocolate lava cake was rock hard, while the creme brulee tasted like egg pudding. Finally, the promised waffle station never appeared. I would be surprised if this place is still open for business by the end of this year.
Every women dreams of her big day since they were a little girl. Madison event centre completely ruined this experience for a wedding I attended in May 2015. They were completely rude, disrespectful and very unaccommodating. I would not recommend this hall to anybody especially if you have a big family stay far far far away from this hall.
The most horrible place ever. They do not deserve even one rating star. All they care about is their money and not following what's on their contract. The staff were very unprofessional and rude. Firstly, we had to wait till 10pm to get food. You will think since they gave us late dinner, the food will be good; but the food was disgusting, tasteless and the presentation of the food was nasty. Secondly, they run out of plates to serve the wedding cake. When I asked the staff serving the cake for plates; she told me to look around to find my own plate. Like seriously, how do you ask a guest to look for their own plate for something which has been paid for. Thirdly,I went to use the bathroom and they run out of bathroom tissue and when I told one of the staff members, he just walked away. The staff there are unprofessional and rude. One of the server's dropped hot food on one of the guest. Did I mention unprofessionalism, that is definitely Madison Event Centre... Please save yourself the headache and nightmare. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE FOR ANY SPECIAL EVENT!!!!! WORST EVENT PLACE!!!!!! The person in charge of this place owe all the guest who attended the wedding event on May 17th, 2015 an apology and full refund to the Bride & Groom.
