I have been going to this shop for many years and have bought many bikes from them. I find the staff quite knowledgeable and very honest. Yes, they may be very busy depending on the time of season and granted one may have to wait to be served but if people are willing to have some patience they will be served with the utmost attention by the staff. Al, Peter and Brian have always made themselves available to address the customers questions. I travel often due to business and have visited many bike shops and this is still one of the best in my books - the shop actually has some character. My two cents!

I just bought and bike from them to go with the 3 others I have gotten from them. I use them all the time to service my bikes along with my family bikes and they have been nothing short of great. Maybe I understand woodbridge which means you have to have some patience when dealing with stores and retailers. Al is great and the staff is talkative but with all the pretenders that come thru there I can understand they may not be that helpful at the start. For me they have been nothing short of great.
Useless Shop. Techs are incompetent and only want to up sell you new components. Will easily get on the defensive and argue with you due to their lack of knowledge. Don't be surprised if you get your bike back from them with more problems then you originally bought it in with. No attention to detail. You're better off watching youtube videos on bike repair and doing it yourself. Don't waste your time with this shop.
Customer service at this shop has realy gone downhill. I used to go to this shop frequently when it was run by Alzan and the mechanic was another tall guy (mike?) but that has obviously changed for the worse. I walked in my bike and my son's. Mine just needed a tune up and my son's needed new cables. The staff didn't acknowledge me when I walked in, nor did they when I was standing at the counter. They were busy having their own inside conversation about Kate Upton. After I asked for some service, they reluctantly took the bikes and gave me a finish date that was three weeks out. I was hoping to have them in the shop for 3 days max. When I got them back (3 weeks later) my bike had barely been tuned up, it actually shifted and braked worse then when I brought it in. My son's bike had the cables replaced, but the cables installed were too short, so the housings bent and cracked after a few weeks due to the steering putting too sharp of a bend in the cable. On top of all of that, they were very expensive. I'm not sure what I'm paying a premium for at this shop. I will NEVER go back here again. Horrible service and quality of work. No attention to detail. Better off going to Skiis and Biikes in Toronto.
Hands down the best Bike Shop in the GTA. When I first started riding in 2007 I broke my bikes deraileur in a weekly MTB race, I was devistated as there was an OCup that weekend. I took my bike to all the stores in the York Region area (literally there was 7 or 8 of them I visited), all had the same answer for me despite the race I had already registered for - leave it with them for a week and they'd fix it (meaning miss the race). I stopped by Pedal Performance and explained everything to Alzan, he told me to grab the bike out of my car and he fixed it right then and there as I walked around the store. Since then I've never gone anywhere else as you just cant beat the service they supply. I've referred plenty of people and everyone I refer has had great experiences with service and follow up service. I've bought at least 4 bikes from this shop and have had no complaints whatsoever. Clearly anyone who puts this place down hasn't been to all that many other shops. I've experienced the sour, so I can certainly appreciate the sweet.
Great bike shop
