This place is a disaster!!! Michelle is super rude! Has no manners. Every time I’ve been there, she’s either sitting in a little play house, or spinning around a hula hoop. She lacks customer service skills. I honestly kick myself for every time I give them business. The only reason why I go here (which will be only during desperate times) is because it’s close by where I work. I called a few places close by to see if I would be able to come in right now to get my nails done, my luck, every other place was busy except this one (not surprised) so after biting my tongue I went in to this place. Before getting started, I asked for them to do sparkles on two of my nails on EACH HAND. I was told that was fine. Then right before she started, I said “actually can you do all of my fingers with sparkles, just on the tip” (even showed her a pic of what I wanted). I was told that was going to be an extra 5!!! I’ve been to so many nails salons and have never been told there was going to be an extra 5 for simple nail polish sparkles! Then she had the nerve to say to me “she was only going to do two fingers for free.” I explained again, that I wanted two fingers on each hand. In a rude manner she said “oh no, then there’s 5 charge for 4 finger.” I’m sorry but I’ve never heard of that. And I’m the person that goes in to a salon and ALWAYS gets sparkles done on my nails. So this was absurd to be charged 5. The funny thing is that I’ve been to this location and have gotten sparkles done at no extra charge. I really hope someone takes over this nail salon. New owners and new staff. Michelle and her staff has really done a number on this salon, it could have been very successful. I will never go back here again, no matter how desperate I am now. This was the last time for me!

Wouldn’t even recommend this place to my worst enemy. Would honestly give a zero star rating if it were possible. I arrived to the salon at 6pm and even though I was the only customer in the store and they didn’t close until 8pm, was horribly rushed. On top of that all I had been sure to call ahead to confirm they could do forms since I don’t like tips but was told when I got there that they weren’t able to do exactly what I wanted. Then caved and said yes they can do forms but not the length that I wanted, only after they yelled and were beyond rude. The technician then proceeded to get acrylic powder and monomer all over my fingers. Her idea of forms was to simply slap a mess of acrylic onto my fingers, let it dry and then simply file it into the desired shape, instead of taking care and time to actually FORM. Another kicker to it all was that my cuticles weren’t cut nor was I let to wash or brush dust off my hands. This place is a sorry excuse of a “spa”. Enjoy the money you got from the (dis)service you provided me. I hope my review deters people from wasting their time at this establishment. Word of advice to the technicians here, if you can’t do something just say so. There nothing wrong with telling a customer you aren’t able to do something. I had called numerous salons in the area none of which were afraid to tell me they only do tips. Telling me about your lack of skill doing forms would’ve saved us both a lot of time.

I had been going to a salon for my nail services for a while and the last few times hadn't been happy with my results, so I was looking for a new place nearby that offered nugenesis dip powder and came across Venetian Day Spa. I was hesitant in trying this place as the reviews weren't so great but I gave it a shot anyways. I went in to see Michelle for a fill and shellac, and first I had a hard time explaining exactly what I wanted because of a language barrier. Finally we were on the same page and she understood what I wanted. Clear dip powder gel and shellac color on top. She said she had never put shellac over the dip powder before, so I started to worry. Having done this to my nails before, I knew the steps along the way and she did everything very well. When she was done, I was very happy with my service. She took her time analyzing my nails, and making sure they were perfectly filed and smooth, no weird bumps from the gel. She painted my nails beautifully with the shellac, covering all the edges and made sure it was fully baked before apply oil and cream. My nails lasted me three full weeks with no chips and no lifting. I am happy to say I have found my new nail girl !! Went back for a second visit three days ago and received the same level of service. The salon was neat and clean as well.

This salon is very clean with chic decor. getting here is a bit tricky, cause the main road is behind Hwy 7. I just parked on Nations Supermarket plaza and walked over in 10 steps. Great to combine grocery shopping and my monthly ManiPedi :))

My experience at the Venetian Day Spa was awesome. The lady greeted me when I walked in; asked me what I was interested in getting done. I mentioned I had made an appointment for a manicure and pedicure. The lady who worked on my pedicure did an excellent job of cleaning and grooming my nails. She made them look polished, presentable and cute. What I enjoyed about the experience is that she took the time to perfect my nails. She didn't rush through it like a lot of places tend to do. Afterwards, another lady did my manicure. I requested a design on my ring finger and she created a few designs until I was content with the design. She was very patient. The salon/space itself looked great. Pretty decor, well lit, organized and clean. They also had free WiFi and entertainment (magazines and a movie playing). Not to mention, their work stations looked very modern. Overall, it was a great experience. I plan to return again, next time I need to get my nails done. Thanks Melissa.

If I could rate this place -10 I would. I have gone here several times and always been happy with my nails, however each time I go the lady gets ruder and ruder. They have no manners here. The last time I went in, I had asked the lady (who I don't believe is the owner) if she can suggest how to make my nails healthier and whether or not I should do shellac or acrylic. She started yelling saying make up your mind and then started talking in her language under her breath, it was at that moment when I said forget it your not doing my nails and walked out. I can't believe this place is still in business, I should have gotten the hint when I go in every time and Im the only person in their. They need new management and new employees. Especially being located in Woodbridge you wont grow with these type of people working for you. On a side note went to Queen Nail Bar across the street right after I left here and the service was amazing and they did an amazing job on my nails.

Deceiving promo posted at the door about "shellac manicure plus pedicure" priced at 52 (or 54 something)! Thought its a good deal and got in only to realize that "pedicure didn't mention shellac" on it. Get it?
