My mother was transferred at my request to this facility after having hip surgery. Won't make that mistake again. Communication was non existent. I asked PT to help with specific daily items - nothing was done. Paperwork to get equipment has yet to be sent (6 weeks later) and attention was not given to an existing bed sore that is now 3x worse then when she arrived - even though they were informed, several times. Had hoped this would be a facility that cared - it is become just the opposite - don't send anyone there.

This place is AWESOME!!!! Never have I seen a rehab facility look so wonderful, pleasant, food is great, the staff is exceptional, NO complaints except for a poor excuse of a nurse who refused me my medicine for my pic line and then the next day refused my treatment to my amputated toes and a aide that is up her butt 24/7, and she is as bad as the nurse!!!!!!
I would never recommend this place to anyone. 0/5 the worst. Look at all the “5 star” reviews. Some of them are duplicate names and most only have 1 review ever! Building is nice. Everything else is awful. Look up every atrium location they all have horrible reviews. Cheap and terribly ran. Will let body parts rot without letting you know because they don’t know !
The building is absolutely beautiful but empty. I was there for 2 weeks but only taken for pt 3 times. One morning at 5 am I was awoken with 3 cna's asking if I could walk. Scarey. Twice I was left on a vacant bed and told they would come back to help me in bed. They never did and I had to call the front desk. I left with bedsores and ended up in the hospital. I was put on another rehab who had me walking in 3 days. The building was not as pretty but full and a lot of care. I would never recommend.
Staff treated me nice. PT/OT were very patient with me and very helpful. I will definitely recommend the Facility.
My family has been trying since Tuesday 10/6 to schedule a FaceTime phone call. We either get someone on the phone who says they will call back (they never do) or the phone just rings and rings and rings. Same situation when we try to call our family members room. The phone continually rings and no one picks up. This is our second experience with this facility. Both times, awful.
If I could give this facility a zero I would. The entire experience has caused unneeded stress to our family. Not one department in this facility does their job, maybe because they know they can’t communicate with any family advocate in person. We have been trying to transfer our grandmother to an assisted living facility from there for weeks. The atrium has basically made this impossible at every level. They are also supposed to test patients for COVID once a week which hasn’t happened. Save yourself a huge mess and STAY away from this place. We are definitely in the process of filing formal complaints with everyone and anyone we can.
My dad was at Atrium for several weeks. Of course we couldn't visit due to COVID. Clinical staff was nice to talk to on the phone, but the overall care was not good. One day I was told he needed to be transferred to a hospital. I selected one, but he was taken to a different hospital by mistake. There was a period of time we didn't know where he was. When he arrived at that ER - with no info from Atrium - the nurse said he was in poor hygiene and had suspicious bruises on his arm, along with the chief complaint of mental status changes from a UTI and a newly started medication. We selected a different rehab at discharge
