I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. April! My 5 year old had a severe tounge tie, needed tubes in both ears, and his adenoids and tonsils needed to be removed. He had it all done in 1 surgery. Dr. April was so thorough and made my son and I very comfortable. A year after the surgery, and my son is 100% better. I highly recommend this practice to anyone. The front staff is also so kind and caring and I have never had an issue getting an appt and have never waited long in the office.

Highly recommend! We have been seeing Dr. April in his Woodbury office for over a year and have nothing but good things to say. He is kind, patient and very knowledgeable. He always takes the time to explain procedures and answer questions. Excellent bedside manner. The office staff at the Woodbury location is phenomenal as well. Everyone is always friendly and accommodating on the phone and a pleasure to speak with in the office. The woman who does the hearing tests is lovely and great with kids. I've never had difficulty getting an appointment when I needed one. I don't think I've ever waited more than 20 minutes in the waiting room, either. Overall, an exceptional practice. We couldn't be happier with the care we have received here.

Simply Angel

One of my sons tubes dislodged from his inner canal and was stuck in his exterior. He’s been complaining of pain in his ear. They told me the earliest they could fit him in is 30 days later. Totally unacceptable for an emergency situation like this. For a patient that’s been going to him for 3years every 3/6 months like clock work. I find this unacceptable and to let a child suffer like this for a month is ridiculous. Stay far away!!

We've had great experiences with Dr. April for our children. He placed ear tubes for our oldest daughter twice with the most recent being at Winthrop Ambulatory Care Center. For our youngest daughter he treated her for a tongue tie at 2-weeks old in the Woodbury office. In all instances he was very attentive and called to follow-up to see how everyone was doing. We highly recommend him.
