Our family loves FOSS! Instructors are super enthusiastic and know their stuff! My daughter was very hesitant to get in the water at first. It was so stressful for me as the parent, but FOSS staff and instructors were not phased. They were so patient and took the time to troubleshoot and figure out what they could do to help her. Communication was so great and continues to be with every session. She now LOVES swimming lessons and is a great little swimmer.

My son has been taking swim lessons at the Woodbury Foss Swim School for about a year now (with a gap of time due to COVID). He started not knowing how to swim at all, but had no fear of water. He can now swim mostly on his own and my anxiety with him around water is much less. He has progressed very quickly and looks forward to his swim lessons each week. All of the instructors have been very enthusiastic and consistent with the curriculum that the school provides. I know that no matter who the instructor is, he will get the lesson the way it needs to be taught.

Foss has been amazing. From scheduling the classes to the individual classes has been so fun! The teachers have so much energy and really make it a positive experience for all children. The one thing I don’t like is I wish they would mention that you need a reusable swim diaper when you register instead of the day of your first class. I was caught off guard when reading the requirement for the class when they reminded me the day of. Panicking because I didn’t have a reusable one and had to purchase one at the school. But otherwise, everything has been amazing!!

I started taking my daughter to swim lessons at Foss in February 2021. I originally reviewed the school poorly for what I saw was an error in their covid practices. As RN I can be critical of theses safety practices. I have increase my score because the team showed a willingness to listen and make changes that buttoned up their safety practices for all students.
