We had several outlets installed including exterior outlets that involved tricky routing through stucco walls and the attic. The work was so well done, you'd never know it wasn't a part of original install when the house was built. In addition, John and Connie were so personable and good at explaining everything that we would definitely hire John Kivel Electric again!

I called and spoke with John on the telephone one morning. I described the problem and sent him photos of the problem areas. He called a few hours later and told me he would be able to come to my home by 11:00am. He arrived with his wife , determined the problem within a few minutes, repaired the problem, made some improvement suggestions, and took the time to examine the electrical panel. He saved me thousands of dollars in just one visit! (another company told me that I would need to change out the entire electric panel). I was very impressed with John's professionalism and his wife's helpfulness. I have a new electrician!
I had the power lines coming from the pole to the house weighed down by vines growing from the house . I called Excell and they told me the the repair was my responsibility but did not instill a sense of urgency. I called John’s company and spoke to his wife and she told me when he would be in touch . He called when he said he would. I sent him some pictures and he quoted me a price. He showed up when he said he would and looked at what was going on and shared his grave concerns about the situation. We agreed on an increase to his quote and he performed the work quickly and well . Very professional and expedient. 5 stars . I would recommend him to anyone.
John was kind enough to find a few spare minutes in his already busy schedule to help me out. Personable and knowledgeable - job well done!
