I contacted Erik in Spring of 2019. I asked whether he/his company would be able to provide lawn mowing services while I was away from home for a month. I confirmed this prior to the trip, and was assured I was covered. Two weeks into my trip, I was told by several neighbors that the lawn was not being mowed. Erik responded by coming out to mow, but said that he left the lawn long and would come back a few days later to cut it shorter (presumably because it was so long). He also apologized profusely, took the blame for not getting this done, and told me he would mow the week after I returned in order to make up for this. When I returned home, he had never been back, and another one of my neighbors confirmed that he (my neighbor) had started mowing my lawn while I was away. I reached out to Erik several times to see what was going on and to get some type of response. Not until I threatened to contact the Attorney General’s office to file a complaint did he respond. He responded by saying that since money did not change hands, he did not care about the lawn, and clearly did not feel a need to communicate with me that he was failing to provide services. Unbelievably bad customer service; no accountability.
