Great entry point to the second leg of the LI. Greenbelt Trail. Beautiful! With lots of space & clean. Park in the morning, avoid while the sports-parents are here.

Nice park for a walk, though one must be aware to keep on the walking trails (clearly learned the hard way!) Most of the park has extensive bike trails that people seemed to be having great fun on. There is an open field on the walking trail that is nice for taking laps under the sun, the rest of the trail is mostly shaded under trees. It was nice to have both options. There is parking on site by some athletic fields and is not far from small shopping centers to grab a bite after a walk or bike ride. I liked it overall!
The big field that's a short walk from the entrance is a nice place to have a picnic/relax. It can get a bit hot during the summer, however, especially with little to no shade. There's a decent sized parking lot in the front.
A beautiful place for hiking, walking, biking, running. This is a great place for winter as well as summer.
My favorite park ever. Really a hidden gem.
