Has a good variety of local produce and bakes bread on a daily basis on-site. Limited stock, but it's a small shop, not a supermarket. Fresh meat, cheeses, booze and sweets. Fish & chip van 4-5.30 every other Saturday. Support local!

This really is a fantastic village shop, everyone is incredibly friendly, they have a huge selection of local produce.... massively important to me as I do B&B in my Shepherds Hut in Godshill. This is what people come to the forest for. It opens early and closes late which is brilliant! Post Office invaluable in a rural village. Just want to say thank you to everyone!!!

Fantastic local meat for very reasonable prices. Hogget, Wild Boar and Dexter Beef all somehow found their way in to my basket. Excellent local cheeses and eggs. Wine selection looked good. Lots of local gifts and sweeter things. Kids enjoyed an ice cream on the seats out front as the donkeys popped over to say hello. As village shops go, it’s a triumph. Wish I’d known about it sooner.

Great little find in the Forest, lots of fabulous local produce and a lovely welcome. The meat is superb. Originally only popped in to grab a drink, didnt realise how many items were available in the shop. Highly recommend. Staff are extremely attentitive also.

Great village shop. Has all the essentials plus their homemade food is amazing. Highly recommend the scotch eggs and rocky road!! Staff are very friendly and happy to help. Good sized car park to the side of the shop too.
