Just stopped by for a haircut earlier today and had a great experience. You can call or sign up for a time slot in person. The owner (Mike) looks like he keeps the place very clean...I saw him sanitizing the equipment in between customers and he wore a mask at all times. Easy conversationalist, good music, and great haircut. All that lower prices than the places nearby makes this an easy 5/5.

I’ve been dying to get my haircut by a professional since mid April. My normal barber was taking appointments at his house too far from where I live. Luckily I found Mikes shop. Elegant barber shop on skillman was a first class experience. His hands were washed before we began. We both wore masks. He kept his shop socially distant and his appointment scheduling was very simple. I will definitely become a regular here.
Very professional , and they cut urban/black or African hair as well as italian and other culture hair types/styles , they didn't make me feel uncomfortable......very polite and very efficient ...... ELEGANT Barbershop is the best name for this place!
Finally found a quality place after recently living in the neighborhood for the past 8 months. Mike not only does an excellent job every time, but goes above and beyond with his entire clientele. Super friendly and welcoming. Definitely a place to go if you’re new to the neighborhood.
